Seven 9s and 10s

So, my biggest problem with this whole Tumblr Popular Stuff thing isn’t the fact that it exists; it’s the fact that they used a star instead of a heart in the design.
As for the Popular Stuff itself, it is what you make of it.  If you impose your own vision of it becoming a popularity contest and a race for hearts, then that’s all you will see in it.
On the other hand, if you see it as a way to find new people and interesting content, then how is it any different than the manner in which Favrd brought most of us together into a solid community?
There is nothing to worry about, until Ashton Kutcher uses Tumblr to punk Oprah and CNN does a story on it… then we can start worrying.
