Seven 9s and 10s

Dear Friends,

After 15 years, three albums, hundreds of shows, and far more twists and turns than we ever imagined possible, we’ve decided to put Harvey Danger to rest. The decision is totally mutual and utterly amicable. Everyone is very proud of the work we’ve done together, but we’ve also come to feel that our collaboration has—in a very positive way—run its course.

This makes me sad. It’s never easy to see one of your favorite bands call it quits, especially one that was so consistently good.

What makes it worse is that I was never lucky enough to see them live. (story)

If one of their final shows is within a few hours drive, I’ll be seriously considering attending.  Clear off the couch cushions; one of you may be getting a DM from me soon.
