Seven 9s and 10s

I am about to go play disc golf with this guy for the first time in a long time!
(This is what steelopus and shotcopter looked like in 2001.  Enjoy.)

Enjoyed.

A few notes:
That shirt, dubbed the “signal flag” by shotcopter, is still one of my favorites of all time. Sadly, hindsight proves that it, along with just about all the shirts I wore pre-2002, was much too big for me.
One thing I’ll say for the terrorists, they definitely instilled a better sense of fashion in me. What? No, it wasn’t my ex. It was the terrorists.

That pair of cargo pants is still one of my favorites of all time. Sadly I outgrew them.
Why didn’t anyone tell me back then that a red/black/white top does not go well with a diarrhea-brown bottom?  That might explain the lack of groupies.

That show, performed in the alley between the great Eastman Theatre and Java’s Cafe, is still one of my favorite FMGreen shows of all time.
Four bands played that night:
LA’s now defunct - popbandALICE
Tallahassee’s now defunct - Kick Me Kate
FMGreen
Chapel Hill’s (at the time out of LA by way of Rochester)- SNMNMNM

A fairly substantial crowd of Roflchestarians stood outside in the sweltering July heat to enjoy the free rock show and they were one of the most receptive and enthusiastic audiences we ever had the privilege of playing for.

The memories of that night are so good that I’m not even embarrassed by how bad I look in this picture.
