No way. Hell no. Fuck that.
There is absoultely no city on the planet that’s worth paying so much for such little space. That’s more than I paid for my 1300 sqft house (not counting another 1300 in the basement). A lot more! I don’t care how much you love NYC. I don’t care how much you love your job or you love your spouse. I don’t care how much you love being “urban.” There are easier and much cheaper ways to live your life in a goddamn jail cell. I’d start by killing the greedy fuckheads that think it’s OK to charge $150,000 for an area slightly smaller than Ron Jeremy’s jock strap.
