We used to have Del Taco in Rochester, but it only lasted about a year before the franchise was run out of town by Taco Bell.
So, the last time Michele went to California, I asked her to steal me a handful of Del Scorcho sauce from Del Taco.
She did.
Then I waited.
And waited.
And still waited some more.
And then finally one day I found a package in my mailbox from Long Island.
This was my reaction upon opening the package.
The sauce is just as delicious as I remembered it.
Thanks Michele!
