An actual tritone is a musical interval that spans three whole tones, and because it normally sounds horrible and dissonant and creates tension to be resolved into a perfect 5th, it’s historically known as Diabolus in Musica, or “the Devil’s interval” and was even suppressed by the Church in the Middle Ages.

My absolute pitch is, strangely enough, B. I can’t be certain of why it is that pitch (one would think it should be Bb, as I was a trumpet major in college), but I think it’s related to the number of times I’ve listened to weezer’s My Name Is Jonas, which is tonally in B, and the first note is B (though it’s played in C because most of weezer’s early catalog was recorded with the instruments tuned down 1/2 step).
