A rare Wednesday night band practice. We practice in a converted barn. It’s 9º outside. I think it was about 30º inside. Maybe 50º. I don’t know, whatever… it was cold.

This is a taste of what it’s like to live in Rochester.  Let me do the math for you… it’s been over 5 months since we’ve broken 70°.  Yes, I know we’re not alone, and some people have it even worse, but I don’t think most Americans comprehend what it’s like to spend over 1/2 of every year with high temps below 70°.
