Thin Lizzy - The Boys Are Back In Town
(Isolated Guitar Tracks)
In the world of “dueling guitar leads,” this song (and band) is pretty much untouchable, imo.
This isolation of the guitar tracks is a thing of beauty. There’s just so much subtlety in this performance by Scott Gorham and Brian Robertson.
Goddamn. I love this album so much.
When time travel becomes affordable, my first stop is 1/11/1997 to catch Nerf Herder opening for weezer on the pinkerton tour in Pittsburgh.
A special wish of love and secret luck later this week from Chuckie for Steve.
This video makes me happy.
Justine, he doesn’t want to roll over, but here.
It doesn’t get much better than this, folks.
I love you, Chuckie.
Chuckie bomb.
I’m putting this here just in case any of you are in need of a smile today.
Hello this is very important. What flavor of Dippin' Dots do I want when I try them for the first time? I like most ice cream product flavors with the exception of anything simulating the essence of banana. Thank you.
Asked by lafix
My favorite flavor is definitely Rainbow Ice, which isn’t actually ice cream, it’s like a frozen Italian ice sort of thing. In fact, I prefer all of the …Ice flavors to the more traditional ice cream flavors.
However, if you insist on starting with an ice cream flavor, then I’d recommend you go with something simple, avoiding any of the options that include chunks of foreign treats - that means… no cookie dough, cookie bits, or brownie bits. A good place to start is straight up Chocolate, Vanilla, or Mint Chocolate.

I needed a good dose of my favorite internet pooch this morning. I can always count on Cary and Chuckie to deliver the goods.
When was the last time you sat down and did nothing but listen to this album?
No internet. No reading. No distractions. Just you and the music.
I’m guessing it was too long ago.
You should do it again. Soon.

It’s in your best interest to take a 15 minute break sometime today and watch these three songs. I absolutely promise you won’t be disappointed. If you’re running short on time, skip to 12:15 and watch just the last one - it’s such an incredible performance.
Just in case any of you were wondering, I’m of the opinion that Maladroit is the best post-pinkerton weezer album, particularly because it’s the last on which the band rocks without reserve.
Sadly, Pat Wilson’s balls have been missing since the recording of this album; rumor has it they were eaten by Rivers’ ego sometime in 2002. Thankfully they were able to showcase themselves with such grand fervor on these 13 songs before vanishing.
