So, perhaps I’m just a cynic, but I can’t believe that those high-scores are real.
It took me about 30 minutes to run up 222 landings so we can assume an average of 444 for 1 hour.
3588 / 444 = 8.08 HOURS.
That’s insane. This game has no save function. You can pause it, and you can turn off the screen with the power button, but if you hit the home button, you lose your pause and start from scratch. It just seems entirely impossible to me that someone could go (at least) 8 hours without hitting the home button, even accidentally. Not to mention being able to land that many planes. TWICE.
Judging by some of the comments/discussion from one of those high-scores, people seem to believe these are real. I just can’t let myself believe it.
What do you think?
OMG! OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG!
PROGRESS SHOTS PROVIDED AS EVIDENCE:

Yes I know, you’re all sick of seeing these, but goddammit I’m proud of myself.
One of my weekend goals was to crack 100 and I did it. Yay me. Clearly, I set lofty goals for my weekends.
Others:
68.
I’m only slightly less impressed by weselec’s claim of landing 81. If I had landed what’s on-screen there, I would’ve pulled a 77+.
