The Caracas skyline, from Valle Arriba. January 7th, 2012.
I keep returning to this photo. It’s just about perfect.

Err… I can’t remember where this was taken, exactly. It’s somewhere in Federal Triangle, Washington, DC. July 6th, 2011.
This is excellent; the composition is perfect.
Guille has so many freaking talents, and an accent that makes women’s clothes just fall right off when he talks to them. What a guy.
Handsome devils.
Happy birthday, Guille. It was great to see you again last weekend and I look forward to a future where it won’t be such a rare occasion.
Wow. I know there’s a ton of depth and dimension in this photo, but my eyes see it completely flat. I don’t know what’s near and what’s far. I love that.
Again, you should all follow Guillermo’s visit to america at http://fauxvintage.gesteves.com.
Not that I’m complaining.
The pictures are awesome and you’re really missing out on some great stuff if you’re not following.

Woo! Go go gadget Guillermo!!!
Now, Tumblr peeps, what you should really do is: HIRE HIM. HIRE HIM and MOVE HIM TO NYC and then EVERYONE WINS!

Thanks to G for the inspiration!
Once again, I need to ask for your help. As I mentioned last night, Chávez devalued venezuelan currency by 100% yesterday, which means that prices of pretty much everything, especially anything that’s imported, will instantly double. Or that I effectively make half as much money as I did yesterday, however you want to look at it. So if you’re planning to buy something on Amazon, please do so by visiting this link, and I’ll get a small commission at no extra cost to you. It’s only a few dollars, but they help a lot. Thanks.
In case anyone’s interested.
I’ve really enjoyed seeing your photos; you have a great eye.
No. Doubt.
These pictures are all excellent and I’m glad I was able to be there with you while you shot most of them!
There’s a new sheriff in town!
“i’ll text you when i’m past immigration
if you don’t hear from me, i’m in guantanamo”
So, this happened the other day.
I may have set an alarm for myself so I wouldn’t miss the screenshot.
A screenful of odd numbers and the only acceptable even number (because it’s prime). This is my happy place.
Do our friend a favor and enter the site through the link on this page: http://www.gesteves.com/help
He’ll earn a very helpful commission and your prices won’t change.
Until we can find a nice American girl for him to marry and escape the veiled-dictatorship of his homeland, the least we can all do is use a different link to go to a site we were all going to visit anyway.
Nice!
