Steelshirt - Gold Digger

One time there was this dude that was recording all kinds of covers of pop songs using the same four chords and mixing up the melodies all over the place and generally just throwing it down.  It was charming, sure, but the music left a little to be desired.  He was definitely someone that I thought was on another tier of popularity on the internet (LOL I DON’T EVEN KNOW WHAT THE HELL THAT MEANS OR WHAT I WAS THINKING!) so I wasn’t really sure how he would react to a little prawn like me proposing a collaboration.

As it turns out, he’s a pretty nice guy. Who knew?

Happy birthday to Luckyshirt.

(It’s too bad “Yoko” broke up the band, but that’s generally the way things go in this business.)

Critics are calling this “an unholy bloodbath of audio guarana extract that starts in your ears and immediately does to your mind and heart what very very very deep water does to big metal things… which makes sense, because these guys are very deep. And very metal.”

This just in: this single went platinum before I finished typing this.

Breaking News: steelshirt management is confirming a 391 city world tour to begin in January of 2010.
