Isn’t it weird how you can hear a song countless times over the course of 14 years and then one crisp and sunny day in September you stop hearing it and instead you actually listen to it and you’re like: “Holy crap!”?

One of my favorite songs of all time and definitely among the five best songs of the ’90s.

She’s out back counting stars

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Stars is one of the 5 best songs of the 90’s.  It’s already the source for the name of my blog.  I think it might be my favorite “cryptic” lyric ever. I still don’t know what the hell it means, but it’s awesome.

I found her out back, sitting naked looking up and looking dead.
