A buddy at work lost both his iPhone and his iPad in what appeared to be a tragic big trash day incident. He decided to try to find it using MobileMe’s Find My iPhone service. One of our videographers documented the adventure.

I know, nobody watches videos, especially when they’re 8+ minutes long. If you just want to find out what happened (and see their encounters with a fugitive and three guys who enjoy the Hooters) skip ahead to about the 5:35 mark.

Moral of the story: Hug your gadgets tonight, kids. You may not have as much time with them as you think.

I finally got around to watching this.  It was both entertaining and impressive.  It’s worth 8 minutes of your time.

Holy shit.

Smart and well done. As it stands, the cabinet itself probably acts as a decent sound chamber. Incredibly more fucntional than your standard kitchen TV.
