Just in case anyone has forgotten that John Bonham was arguably the greatest rock and roll drummer in history, here’s an 18+ minute drum solo to jog your memory.

I don’t exactly know where or when these outtakes were leaked, but they’ve been floating around the internet for a long time.  Apparently they’re from the In Through The Out Door session.

I could listen to these forever and never get sick of them.  The sound is huge (maybe we’re just hearing a single, well-placed, room mic) and it goes a long way to illustrate just how amazing of a drummer John was.  The groove in some of these outtakes is just delicious.
