Posting this one again because it’s hilarious and makes me smile.
One time this girl came to Rochester to visit me and celebrate my birthday and then I hid in the trees near our “ocean” and took stalkery pictures of her while she enjoyed a frozen custard while being chased by a little kid and she was single at the time so don’t kick my ass Erik, OK? Like please, don’t kick my ass. I’m fragile.
Anyway. Today is her birthday, and so: happy birthday to Maya. You’re a good friend, even if you do constantly make fun of me when you come to visit.
We’ll always have Dippin’ Dots.
Oh yeah, and we played hide & seek with Jayden for like 30 minutes and it was pretty awesome. She’s a good hider and a good seeker! Multi-talented, for sure.
You were part of the best birthday of my life and I hope you can enjoy your day as much as I enjoyed mine. You’re awesome on so many levels - not to mention beautiful, witty, and you consistently make me feel like an idiot because you’re so goddamn smart.
