Chicka-dee-dee-dee…
Yesterday? It was a very good day.

I may be a little biased, but I think my photo is much better than the one on the radar right now.

This morning I’ll give you a sunset picture from last week at Mendon Ponds Park.
Please click-through. This one really deserves to be seen large on black.
I hope you all have a great day!

Butt wait! I just want to be your friend!

They’re also cautiously curious. Every move I made caused them to pause and observe me. Not that that’s surprising, as just 3 months ago it was open season and every human presented a danger, though not in this park.

The care with which they cross the roads in this park is impressive. Like a human approaching a street: they pause, look both ways, pause again, look both ways again, and only cross when it’s clear that the whole herd can make it safely to the other side. They definitely understand the difference between a stopped car and a moving car.

This little girl is so cute!

I made some friends at the park tonight.
Warning… it’s about to get very deery up in here.

Mendon Ponds Park at sunset. It’s just one of thousands of reasons why Rochester is one of the best places to live in this country.
