Here’s a 30 minute exposure of the southern tip of Canandaigua Lake, with Naples, NY and the Cohocton Wind Farm glowing in the distance.

So two weeks ago I shot a whole bunch of pics at the Susquehannock Trail Performance Rally.  I can only enter one into the Rally America photo contest.  The deadline is Friday.

If you wouldn’t mind clicking the picture above and taking a quick look at those that I’ve selected and then coming back here and letting me know which is your favorite, I’d appreciate it.

Many are blurry, many are under-exposed, and many are actually not too bad.

Inspired by nicky36’s old picture of her gorgeous mom, here is my mom - looking absolutely beautiful - holding a 2 month-old steelopus.  She was 33 when I was born.  The best part is that almost 30 years later, she looks just as good.  Time has been good to mom and I hope I’ve inherited those genes.

This was back in September ‘08 driving along US I-90/NYS Thruway on the way to a labor day weekend camping trip/surprise 30th birthday party.

Driving on the thruway is boring; sometimes you’ve just got to spice it up a bit.

Popcorn, again, of course.

When people would ask me what color Popcorn was, I would always say “Um. I don’t know. It’s hard to explain. She looks like a dirty snowpile.”  But that never really made sense to anyone until I took her for a walk one night and snapped this picture.

Popcorn is decked out in suburban camo for the winter season.  It’s the brownish ears that really do the trick.
