Dear Griffin Powermate,

We’ve been together for five years, yet I still haven’t found a good use for you.  You’re absolutely beautiful and the concept of incorporating you into my desktop has always intrigued and excited me, but the truth is… well, there’s just no nice way to say this… I’m a keyboard guy.  I can’t really figure out anything that you can do that my keyboard can’t already do, and well…if I don’t need to take my hands off my keyboard then I just won’t.  It’s all about desktop efficiency, you see?

Don’t take it personally.  Heck, the only reason I use my mouse is because it has 10 buttons that I’ve programmed with keyboard shortcuts.  I’ll continue to keep you around and maybe one day I’ll find a way for us to be together.  I’m sorry.  It’s not you, it’s me.
