G, despite what you may think, you are quite capable - and very good at - capturing moments.  This is a perfect example… and it’s the first picture of SFTU (seriously) that has made me think to myself “Crap. I wish I was there for this.”

Big loud alcohol-fueled parties at bars… blah. That’s not where you get to know people.
Sitting around in a diner is where you get to know people.
