A really cool solar system scale graphic by 3D artist Roberto Ziche (via Bob’s Spaces)

I don’t think I’ve ever seen the solar system displayed in this way; the 3D rendering really adds to the sense of scale. I’d like to visit Saturn someday.

This is perfect. I wish I knew where I could find the original video. It looks like it could be a NOVA animation, as it is very high quality.

Thinking of the solar system in this way is very satisfying for me. I can’t really explain it, but staring at this just makes me feel calm. We’re all just along for the ride.
